Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

​​​​​Dr. Melinda Johnson brings 17 years of optometric experience and a passion for helping patients achieve their best vision and eye health. Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University in Shreveport before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Johnson always knew she wanted a career in healthcare and chose optometry because it allows her to make a meaningful difference in her patients' quality of life. She finds it especially rewarding to help patients maintain healthy vision while building lasting relationships and learning something new from the people she meets every day.
Outside the office, Dr. Johnson enjoys cooking, gardening, birdwatching with her husband, spending time outdoors, and entertaining her cats. She looks forward to getting to know each patient and providing compassionate, personalized eye care for the whole family.
